PHI SIGMA PI NATIONAL COUNCIL


National President
Presides at all meetings of Grand Chapter and National Council Appoints committee members
Promotes the general interests of Phi Sigma Pi Ensures that all policies are carried out.
Call for and receive any desired report from National Officers, National Committees or Chapters Signs warrants drawn up by Treasury, contracts entered into by the fraternity, all charters and all membership certificates.

 

Senior Vice President
Presides at meetings of Grand Chapter and National Convention in the absence or inability of the National President. The chairperson of the Constitution & Standards Committee.
Serves as the advisor on risk-management issues. Other duties that may be assigned to him or her.

 

National Secretary
Ensures the preservation of the National Constitution, Charters, Rituals, all documents, records and supplies of the fraternity. Ensures that all records of the proceedings of the Grand Chapters and Council are maintained.
Serves as the chair person of Awards and Scholarship and Emblem Committee. Serves on the Communication and Technology Committee. 
Issues and signs all Charters and membership Certificates.  

 

Vice President of Finance
Signs warrants on the Treasury and contracts entered into by Phi Sigma Pi. Authorizes warrants of the Grand Chapter when properly signed by duly empowered National Council Members or designated representatives.
Works with the Executive Director to prepare an annual budget, and ensures that a complete record of receipts and expenditures is maintained. Serves as chair person of the Fund Development Committee and serves on the Personnel Committee.

 

Vice President of Membership Development
Instructs Collegiate Chapter how to make efficient use of the Ritual. Proposes changes to the National Guidelines on Initiation.
Ensures that Collegiate Chapter Initiation Programs are designed to produced committed, responsible, and active members. Serves as the chairperson of the Membership Development committee whose duty it is to see that the Initiation Program Instills the ideals of Phi Sigma Pi and develops pride and commitment through learning, participation, and responsibility.

 

Vice President of Chapter Development
Ensures that all information pertaining the growth and expansion of Phi Sigma Pi is properly interpreted and disseminated. Promotes communication and national unity among regions and chapters while ensuring the development and education of regional leadership.
Chairperson of the chapter development committee, promoting a professional fraternity image through reviewing National public relations efforts and standards.  

 

Vice President of Alumni Development
Serves as coordinating official for Alumni Communications and activities and advises all Chapters on current Alumni Events. Encourages positive communications between chapter and alumni.
Serves as Grand Chapter's official liaison with Alumni and Alumni Chapters. Serves as the chair person of the Alumni Development committee.
